The therapeutic
properties of Dead Sea Salts have been recognized since the reign of Cleopatra.
It is reputed that regular use of Dead Sea Bath Salts helped provide the Queen
of the Nile with her famous smooth silky skin. For over 2000 years these special salts have also
been used for the treatment of arthritis, rheumatism, eczema, psoriasis,
muscular pain, tension and stress. The waters of the Dead Sea have a very unique
composition. These exceptional waters have mineral content 10 times higher than
ordinary sea water. The salt in sea water is 80% sodium chloride (common table
salt), however the mineral complex of the Dead Sea Salt contains very small
proportions of sodium chloride and much higher concentrations
of magnesium, potassium, calcium, sulfur and bromides. It is believed
that the therapeutic properties from these salts is attributed to the high
concentrations of these vital minerals.
Dead Sea Bath Salts offer the dual
benefits of a soothing stress relieving bath, while providing a feast of
minerals for the skin and body. A
healthy nourished skin is vitally important to your overall health.

Recommended usage: Bath water should be 2-3 degrees warmer than your body
temperature for adequate absorption of the minerals. Soak for 20 to 30 minutes,
then shower off and apply a moisturizer. For added benefit rest for 20-30
minutes under a warm blanket
For improving skin, hair and nails
we recommend 3 to 4 mineral baths
a week for three weeks, using 4 to 8 ounces of bath salt per bath.
Amount recommended for treatment of skin disorders, arthritis or muscle pain: 3
to 4 mineral baths a week for 2 weeks using a higher ratio of salt to water up
to 2 pounds of non-fragranced salts. Consult a physician before using higher concentrations of these
bath salts; do not use if you have open wounds. For external use only.
